Samsung Unveils Industry Leading Printing Innovation

At this year’s IFA, the world's leading trade show for consumer electronics, Samsung showcased its latest range of mobile printing solutions and introduced new products that will ‘push the boundaries of innovation in the Printing industry’



With ambitious targets for the printing sector and focussing on mobility, user-experience and design, Samsung aims to become the leading A4 laser Printer and Multifunction Printer manufacturer by 2017.

With the move towards mobile printing, since 2009 the company has developed mobile focused applications that include a dedicated Samsung Mobile Print app, Wi-Fi Direct support, a Native photo printing button and Google Cloud Print.

This year, they became world’s first to unveil a colour laser printer with NFC functionality, thus enhancing convenience in mobile printing. The Xpress C460 Series, which can be set-up on a Wi-Fi connection with only three steps, has received favourable reviews since its launch.

Samsung also unveiled a range of concept printers featuring innovative design and new product features.

With a retro design, the ‘Indie’ incorporates a mobile docking sound system while still being able to print. The smartphone also charges while docked.

The “One & One” is a ‘mono’ laser printer, with the ability to print using two colours by designating one additional colour printer ink from cyan, magenta, or yellow to complement the standard black. The “One & One” enhances the user experience, by giving users a wider range of choice
